Hi Maria. No, he doesn't say it for anything other than work, but he is a Correctional Officer at the prison here. He says that all he is is a glorified babysitter for brats. Laughing Laughing He does a lot of doubles at work and I guess it would be boring after 16 hours a day. He has had to shoot a couple and then it is not boring, but flat out scary. Shocked Do you have children Maria? If so, how old and how many ~ yes, I am nosey! Wink Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Hi Jackie - son Jack does a long day! I like the idea of shooting some of the delinquents too!

We could not have children but as I come from a large family I have always been able to borrow my wonderful nieces and nephews from time to time! They are all so great and some now have their own children. One niece likes to remind me about how I helped them decorate using their hands and hair to spread the wallpaper paste - we had no brushes! We all had a great time and it came out OK!

I get the best of both worlds as I get to enjoy their best behaviour and send them back before they get bored! I love them all so much they are simply great people.

Maria you are a little blood thirsty thing too, huh? Wink Laughing I have to admit when he calls and tells me if he shot a child molester or rapists I do a little dance. Laughing Laughing Last month one of the idiots threw some liquid in his face and uniform and I was about to go visiting them, thank God it was just water, but they are so disgusting what they throw at the C.O.s. Instead of being mad at the C.O.s they should ponder on why in the hell they got there the first place! Evil or Very Mad Jack is 6'5", muscular build and they still mess with him. Did you know that the prisoner's have more rights than the C.O.s?

Seems that human rights falls in favour of the bad guys in most places these days Jackie. We recently had an incident here where heroin addict(s) sued because they were not allowed to have drugs in prison! %The worlds gone crazy - imagine them coping with Ruark's prison conditions! Yes lets try that!

Andrea - thanks for the offer! Will let you know.....! Actually we pick up a cocker spaniel puppy tomorrow - think we might be busy for a while!

Maria what happened? Did he get his heroin? If Jack accidently killed one of the prisoner's, even in a riot, their family can sue him and take him for everything he has, but a prisoner can stab and maim or kill (he has to wear a stab proof vest) him and they are not punished (what can they do to him??). There is something wrong with our system when the prisoner's have more rights than the one's watching over them. I dread it when the phone rings when he is at work, they have already had a couple C.O.s who have been killed this year not counting ones who have been badly hurt on duty. If they had to live like Ruark did in that prison they would be crying crocodile tears (poor babies............................not!). They really have it good in prison nowadays, except for the child molester's and rapist's (they are in solitare for their safety from the other's), prisoner's do have a code of honor amongst themselves and they do not tolerate the ones I mentioned. A puppy Maria, that is so cool! I love animals and I am a softie when it comes to them and they know it. Laughing Rolling Eyes Laughing

Hi Jackie - they received a compensation payment when out of prison (I think),settled out of court - to save the taxpayers from paying even more money! (I'm a bit vague as I try not to watch too much news - too depressing!)

I agree with you - the system is wrong that the bad guys can do what they like and then scream for human rights and compensation (and more to the point, get it!)

I hope your Jack wins the lottery and then he won't have to go to work ever again!

Puppy comes tonight! Can't wait - I am a big softie too!

Thank you Maria, that is sweet of you. I don't know how the laws are in the other states, but if someone breaks into your home and you shoot them you had better kill them. Otherwise they can sue you for everything you have even if they do go to prison. Shocked Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad It makes me wonder who wrote these laws?!
