Unless we went on a car ride to the store or something, my kids seemed to have given up naps at around age one. Too much excitement for them to want to sleep around here.

Mari, I wouldnt mind if she didnt nap and slept through the night, only when she does nap it is like 20 min....this girl fights sleep and only sleeps 6 hours a night... that is it.... and I get her to sleep like 1 1/2 hrs a day, (in 20 min here and there ) so she is cranky all the time... I am sure because she is tired.... I am too!!! LOL Rolling Eyes Laughing

Jeanne, I started to work again on my family tree, I only have 5 generations but it is a start. I am finding that some of my ancestors came from Germany I think, my grandmother confirmed that someone did come from germany but she isnt feeling well so I didnt press the issue.

some day I might get to read again....LOL Very Happy

I know...I feel the same way...we go out and she sleeps so sound when we are at my moms or just out....we get home and she is awake... when I need her to sleep so I can get things done around here!!

okay where has the time gone... this week flew by and I was hardly even home, today it is raining and I dont have anywhere to be but I do have to do something to my house since I have seriously neglected it!!

our weather hasnt improved much but it is nicer that what were having....so I can not wait to start on my back and front yard --to do anything to them will be an improvement.

The worst thing is when they both fall asleep in the car and I can't get a spot out front and I have to decide which kid I will carry in first and lock the other in the car for 30 seconds until I can carry the other in. ..I hate that. Thankfully its rare.

oh that is funny, I am one of the moms that does the carry all... diaper bag, the bag or two I just got from the store, my purse, the car seat.. I try for one trip...luckily my 5 yr old does wake up when the car stops. ..lmao!!

I know it has been forever since I have been on, I am so sorry, I truly hate being away...you know how much I love to be on here.... but life this month has been not so great....

first my (new/referbished) computer got hacked into and infected with virus and spam... we couldnt fix it ourselves and we really dont have the money to put out to have it fixed either... so we pulled back the old one which is much slower but at least it works...

my grandmother passed away one week ago today, and it was very unexpected, we had just celebrated her 81 bday the week before...so we were very busy getting all the pictures and things together for the service we just had on Sunday, and I have been over my mothers house everyday so far this week.

Max just had his 5th birthday this week, but the party wont be til next week...

and before all that happened, we were working on our back yard, area by area....

I cant believe we are half way through June already...

Angela...great to hear from you ! I was just thinking of you this morning when I was getting the kids ready for school. I was thinking of the baby and trying to get one of them out in the morning too, with the diaper bag etc...I can just put them in now without all the "stuff".
Sorry to hear about your grandmom, that is sad.
We have been having trouble with our computer too...just being very slow...probably out of memory or something. And WE too have been slaving in the yard , moving the pool, pavers plants and crap because of the neighbor...there may be a bloodletting before the summer ends !

thanks, we are very sad over the loss of my gram... it was sudden, she had been in and out of hospital for small things so we expected her to come home from this to, but it didnt work that way. Crying or Very sad

oh so sorry to hear about the neighbors... that is not a good thing. Shocked

and we have been having storms like crazy around here, so we have been having our power go on and off alot lately!!

Fulvia...very impressive ! Happy Birthday Cale !
Angela....I have been re-doing my yard, that I thought was perfect, since April because of the pool move. I had to move plants, doors, pavers, and a patio I had laid out....but it is done now...and it looks good ! I will just torture my neighbor all summer to thank him for the aggrevation !

I'm not so impressive. I knew it was in June, but I couldn't remember the right date. A little check... the running... the conquering of the home computer... a matter of minutes... ...
I'm happy I succeed!

PS: I'm sorry that I'm not writing so often... I've got some problem to solve at home and I had flu twice this month! I'll do my best to join you.

Yes I am getting on at the ripe old age of 23. Had a nice birthday though. Weather was beautiful, always is on my birthday because I'm special. Started rereading Flame, went for a bike ride in the State park outside of my town, and in honor of all the free Star Wars stuff I got last week, I watch my favorite Star Wars movie, The Empire Strikes Back. Love it!
