I was in the shower this morning, and I was thinking, what one of lifes little pleasures am I not getting enough of...I decided it was really great food. My taste buds are bored. I wish I had a personal chef to cook me all kinds of delicious things I WANT to eat and run to the table for !! Anyone Else ?

I think a maid would be nice. I like to cook. It would be nice to have someone clean up around here and do yardwork. If she was really hot and wore a cute little maids outfit, that'd be a bonus! Laughing

Heath...now I know you are a bachelor..haha very unrealistic to do yard work in a maid's outfit...bikini maybe...maid outfit ..no.
Guys...I was thinking more of the SIMPLE pleasures that people like...like a nice cigar, fine wine, walks in the park, dancing, reading...not so much what alot of money would buy you. Does that change anyone's answers...except Heath, I think he is happy with his ! haha

Let me revise my answer , maybe I threw it off by mentioning a maid.
I would love to really have the time and really make delicious meals. Made with all kinds mouthwatering ingrediants. Food is such a basic need, I just wish I could have more variety and just really want to sit down and savor the meal. Instead of finishing dinner and thinking "ok, I ate, now what do I have to do." I want to eat and just sit there and say "wow, that was so fulfilling and delicious...mmm mmmm."

Well I would let her wear something else for the yardwork, wouldn't want to ruin that outfit. Laughing

A simple pleasure of mine? Cuddling my rabbits. It's so nice to know that there is someone (at least some animals) who cannot live without you and your care...

Actually I have been craving quiche for the last couple of weeks. My mom used to make the best. I know, quiche is not for real men or whatever, I like it. She made it with swiss cheese, chives, and bacon, yum. It was even better after it had sat for a day or two. I am going to make it, but I keep forgetting to get some ready made pie crusts. I don't know how to make my own, and I'm just too lazy. I'm not really a skilled baker at all, but I like to cook.
Another thing I really like is Prime Rib with fresh Au jus, and a loaded baked potato, or tenderloin, grilled, medium rare. Very Happy

Heath you will have to find a receipe for self crusting quiche then you dont have to worry about the ready made pastry. I have a couple of receipes that are easily adapted with what ever you like to add or substitute for fillings etc. I could put them on here if you cant find one

I once saw a t-shirt that said "real men eat quiche."
My simple pleasure I guess would be to have an extra room, maybe a little extra time, to paint. To just enjoy drawing and painting and to forget everything else.

I gave this a bit of thought! A simple pleasure for me I guess would be to have a normal sense of smell.

Due to my Hayfever/Rhinitis I find it almost impossibly to smell things. I get effected in other ways though so will often say to people there is a strange smell and they look at me and say but you cant smell. About once a month I have a couple of days when I can smell things a little bit though. If I go into a pts room with a very high Blood Glucose Level I get a sweet taste in my mouth. Unfortunately my tates buds arent the best with it either as they are tied in with the sense of smell so it can be a bit gross when I realise what I am tasting. It does come in handy though with some of the messes I have to clean up

I guess a simple pleasure for me would be a vacation. I would surely love to take a vacation. I would love to have a cook as well, personal trainer, a personal body massager and most definitely a maid. But I also like Cale's idea about a special room as well. A room of my own where I could do what I wanted. Where no one would bother me and I would have all my treasures in there such as books, etc. I would like it to be a dark room (as in photography) so I could develop pictures that I have taken if I had the incline to start this hobby. I've always wanted to do that. Also, in there would be a Ham radio. I've always wanted to do this as well. But computers have taken over that. But it would still be fun. Maybe I could talk to some aliens. I've often thought of ways I could build a special room in the garage because my house is small but Tony said it is not possible. It would cost too much and would have to heated and all that. I guess someday I will get my own special room when the kids move out.
